Overview: I've heard of plenty of people who have lost all their important photos and music and so on because their harddrive died, and yet I just see it as one of those 'it won't happen to me' things. This is not a good attitude to have when talking about electronics, and so it is an almost necessity to back up all of my most important stuff just in case it actually does happen to me.
When will this goal be completed: When an external harddrive has been purchased and filled up with the most important stuff from my laptop.
A suitable time for beginning the goal: Better sooner than later.
Foreseeable problems: There are no reasonable unique problems that will hamper the completion of this goal.
